Amsel Lorraine Rosenbaum, 93, of Albion, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Society, Albion.
Amsel is survived by four children: Larry and Harvey (Carol), all of Norfolk, Karen (Doug) Smoyer of Springdale, AR and Walt (Renee) of Norfolk; nine grandchildren: Lynn (Cory) Taylor of Omaha, Amy Comstock of Ralston, Harold Rosenbaum of St. Petersburg, FL, Sarah Rosenbaum of St. Petersburg, FL, Lisa Rosenbaum of Papillion, Alan (Mickela) Rosenbaum of Bellevue, Jason (Danielle) Rosenbaum of St. Paul, MN, Tara (Genaro) Vargas of Corinth, TX and Jennifer Smoyer (Scott) Thomas of San Jose, CA; nine great grandchildren: Jacob Taylor, Abigail Comstock; Amara, Walker (Cady), Corbin, and Ava Rosenbaum; Sheridan, Xochitl, and Lily Vargas, sisters-in-law Pauline Maricle of St. Edward and Joyce Schrad of Columbus, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dale, brother Ivan Maricle, daughter-in-law Nelda Rosenbaum, brothers-in-law: Ivan and Lowell Rosenbaum.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 29, 2020, at the United Methodist Church in Albion with Rev. Vernon Olson officiating. Interment followed at Rose Hill Cemetery, Albion.
