New boutique open today in Albion

Tiffany Curry
Albion now has its second women’s clothing boutique.
Boutique 29 Eleven opened Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 141 South Fourth Street in the Kay Nicole Salon building (formerly The Boot Rack).
Tiffany Curry, wife of Boone Central Middle School Principal Bill Curry, is co-owner and manager of the new store.
Bill and Tiffany worked together in preparing the store, which included installing the display racks and building a dressing room.
Tiffany and her business partner, Carrie Kavan of St. Paul, started the first Boutique 29 Eleven store in St. Paul, NE, in May of 2019. That store is still in operation and managed by Carrie.
What is the significance of the name? It is a reminder of the favorite Bible verse of the two owners — Jeremiah 29-11: “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
The stores have women’s clothing for all ages from teens on up, and the fall/winter line is now featured. The co-owners purchase inventory from several different vendors.
