Boone County residents experienced a 40 degree temperature swing Monday into Tuesday, Sept. 7-8, with rain and ominous clouds on Tuesday morning.
As predicted, high temperatures were in the 40s Tuesday in Albion, rising only a few degrees from the 41 degrees registered at the Boone County Bank at 10 a.m.
The weather forecast was for slowly improving temperatures starting Thursday.
