Norma Jean Parli, 86, of Albion, earned her wings on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2020, at Cloverlodge Care Center in St. Edward, NE.
Norma is survived by her husband Dave of 64 years, 9 months and 16 days, their children: Jenice (Tom) Stevenson, Scott Parli and Belinda Meysenburg, all of Albion, and Gwen Greger and Tim Dickey of Belgrade, six grandchildren: Justin (Michelle) Stevenson, Adam (Sara) Stevenson, Cody (Dawn) Stevenson, Tasha (Ty) Bopp, Jean (Ryan) Cornwell and D.J. Greger; 15 great grandchildren, sister Darleen Schumuecker of Omaha, sister and brother-in-law Larry and Marty Viterra of Louisburg, KS, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceding Norma into Heaven were her parents Nate and Valeria Rave, brother John Olsufka, brother in-law, Don Schumuecker and son-in-law Dan Greger, parents-in-law Louis and Susan Parli, brother-in-law Dan Parli, sister and brother-in-law, Mel and Mary Gertsch and niece Jamelyn ‘Jamey’ Viterna.
Memorials are suggested to the family for designation at a later date.
A private family memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 30, 2020, at the Casey Building at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Albion.
A Celebration of Norma’s Life will follow from 1-4 p.m. George (Dave) Parli will not be in attendance due to COVID restrictions.
Current CDC guidelines and social distancing will be practiced. Masks are recommended.
