Applications to fill the current vacancy on the Boone County Board of Commissioners will be accepted until Friday, Dec. 11, at the County Treasurer’s office.
The District #2 position on the three-member board became vacant due to the death of Commissioner Alan Rasmussen on Nov. 10.
Applications may be requested or picked up at the office of the Boone County Clerk. A resume may be attached to the application. Applicants must be a registered voter and a resident of Commissioner District #2, which includes Southeast Manchester and Southwest Manchester Precincts.
Applications are to be returned in an envelope to the Boone County Treasurer, 222 South 4th Street, Albion, Nebraska, 68620-1247, by 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 11, 2020.
