
The council also adopted first readings of ordinances to enact the revised zoning regulations and revised subdivision regulations as recommended by the Albion Planning Commission.
The action followed a public hearing in which Jeff Ray, consultant with JEO Consulting Group, PC, outlined various aspects of the plan, as well as the zoning and subdivision regulations.
The comprehensive plan, containing 80 pages, was adopted by resolution. This plan contains information on demographics, housing needs, socio-economic trends, and future population projections.
