‘Helping people’ was career key for Jacquie Brugman

“I will miss the people,” Jacquie Brugman, PA-C,  said of her retirement after 29 years working as a Physician Assistant-C at Boone County Health Center.
“I think anybody who does medicine does it for people, to help people,” she explained. “And there is a feeling you get when you know you’ve done something to help a person’s life be better.”
She praised BCHC for being so supportive of her and  her practice.
Jacquie originally planned to be a teacher until her mother, Adrene Noble, convinced her she would be happier working in medicine.
“It was a good call on her part,” Jacquie said.
