Work accident claims life of Tanner Pelster, 24

A work accident involving farm equipment claimed the life of Tanner J. Pelster, 24, of Albion, last Wednesday, Feb. 3.
Boone County Sheriff’s Office reported a 911 call was received at about 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 3, stating there was a farm accident northwest of Albion.
When authorities arrived, they found Pelster lying on the ground after he had apparently fallen from the front end loader he was operating. He was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 8, 2021 at the Boone County Event Center in Albion, NE with Rev. Janet Burgel officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Rose Hill Cemetery, Albion, NE. Visitation is set from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Boone County Event Center. Social distancing and current Covid-19 DHM’s effective will be followed at the services and masks are requested.
The family is requesting that you wear a racing t-shirt in honor of Tanner’s love of racing. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
