Tanner John Pelster, 24, of Albion, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021 as a result of a work accident near Albion.
Tanner is survived by his parents Delmer and Dee of Albion, four sisters, four brothers-in-law, and 10 nieces and nephews: Stacey and Casey Slaymaker, and children Mishayla, Brayden, and Beckett of Albion, Kelly and Adam Seier, and children Peyton, Cooper, and Gracyn of Petersburg, Nicole and Jason Borer, and children Kinley and Noah of Albion, Taylor and Jay Colson, and children Reed and Quinn of Osceola, grandparents: Delmer and Pauline Pelster of Petersburg, Betty (Rieck) and Ray Chvatal of Wahoo, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends, and his racing family.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Denny Rieck and great-grandparents Chuck and Kathryn Hammond, Adolph and Sophie Pelster, Lee and Gesine Morris.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 8, 2021 at the Boone County Event Center in Albion with Rev. Janet Burgel officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Rose Hill Cemetery, Albion.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
