Boone Central FCCLA members advance to state; chapter wins ‘Capture the Action’ award

Boone Central FCCLA leaders performed well in recent District STAR virtual events and qualified for state competition.
The Boone Central chapter also won Nebraska FCCLA’s “Capture the Action” award in the area of Career Connections. FCS students developed lesson plans for Cardinal Kids Club (CKC), which they hope to share with the children soon. This lessons focus on developing career-ready skills in the areas of health sciences and education.
Six individual medalists and two parliamentary procedure teams will move on to the virtual state competitions to be held April 12-13.
