Area graduations to highlight May

Graduation ceremonies are highlighting the first two weeks of May in the Boone County area.
St. Edward Commencement was held Saturday, May 1 (photo above).
Coming up this Saturday, May 8, will be Newman Grove High School Commencement at 2 p.m., and eighth grade graduation at St. Michael’s School, Albion, at 5 p.m.
Riverside High School graduation will be Saturday, May 15, at 2 p.m. in the gym at Cedar Rapids.
Boone Central graduation will be Sunday, May 16, at 2 p.m. in the new gym at Albion.
