Lisa Schumacher will be moving back to familiar territory when she takes over as principal of St. Boniface and Pope John XXIII Central Catholic schools in Elgin this summer.

She arrived at St. Michael’s in 1992 as a math and science teacher, and became principal in 2008. She’s seen many changes along the way.
