Rex Karabel marks 50 years of cemetery care

You won’t find Rex Karabel standing still very often.
The 68-year-old Albion native has plenty of work to do. He mows and trims grass at Rose Hill Cemetery, and also opens grave sites at cemeteries all across the area.
Last month, Rex marked 50 years of digging graves and maintaining the grounds of Rose Hill. He helped dig his first grave by hand in May of 1971 with his dad and two brothers, just after graduating from Albion High School.
