Edward ‘Ed’ M. Kelley

Edward “Ed” Michael Kelley, 80, of Albion, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Boone County Health Center in Albion, surrounded by his family.
Ed, son of Patrick and Edna (Spiegel) Kelley, was born on Dec. 21, 1940, in a small home outside of Loretto. He attended school at District 72 and District 49 through the eighth grade and graduated from Albion High School in 1958.
Ed is survived by his wife Karen of Albion, sister Mary Ann Mescher of Albion, children: Angie (Dan) Zoucha and John (Brea) Kelley, all of Albion, grandchildren: Ashley (Nick) Krohn of Albion, Kalvin (Kaleigh) Zoucha of Valdosta, GA, Austin (Emily) Zoucha of Lincoln, Kaleb Kelley, Bryce Kelley, Karley Zoucha and Emilie Kelley, all of Albion, great grandchildren: Maggie and Sawyer Krohn, Eli and Zoey Zoucha, Annie and Rae Zoucha.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter, Jennifer.
A memorial service will be Friday, July 2, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the Albion United Methodist Church in Albion with Reverend Janet Burgel officiating. Inurnment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, July 1 at the Albion United Methodist Church.
