Pastor Lynde Linde brings a wealth of experience to the Albion and Loretto United Methodist Churches.
She has many interests, including her trademark hats.
She is an avid reader and book collector, a puppeteer, and a registered ”clown” who also enjoys riding horses. She has faced her share of life’s challenges.
She worked in retail management for 25 years before becoming a minister 21 years ago.
After the COVID-19 pandemic of the past year, one of her primary goals is to see the churches come back to life with fewer restrictions and more meaningful worship experiences. Another goal is to carry out the mission of the United Methodist Church, which is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Her love of hats comes from her OI Order Brethren heritage, which required women to wear head coverings.
Pastor Linde calls herself a ”Midwest transplant.”
