James “Jim” Daniel Reilly, 48, of Spalding passed away on Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, at Mary Lanning Healthcare in Hastings. Jim is survived by his parents Dan and Janet Reilly of Spalding, four siblings: Sherry (Vik) Kolli of Omaha, David (Jenny) Reilly of Fullerton, Joe (Amanda) Reilly of Bennington and Ken (Ashley Holub) Reilly of Houston, TX, seven nieces and nephews: Kaden and Anya Kolli, Wyatt and Levi Reilly, Shawn and Haley Reilly and Avery Reilly, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Bernice Reilly, Roland and Maude Vrba, aunt Joan Nordhues, uncles: Roy Treber and Rogers Wise and cousin Mark Reilly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Spalding with Rev. Antony Thekkekara officiating. Interment will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Spalding with Military Rites conducted by American Legion Post 299 of Spalding, and the Army Funeral Honor Guard.
