Donald Forrest Genrich, 96, of Albion, died on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Society, Albion. He is survived by two sons and families: Rodney (Rosalyn) from Bismarck, ND and their two married daughters: Amber (Eli) Mannon and great granddaughter, Lydia of Christiansburg, VA, Bethany (James) Loveday and great granddaughter Kaylee and great grandson in February, 2022 of Knoxville, TN; his second son Thad has two daughters, Danae, and Ashley of Denver, CO, and one son Nathan of Phoenix, AR, Don’s sister E. Darlene Genrich of Beatrice.
Don was preceded in death by his wife Shirley, his parents, his older brother and wife, Willis and Junelaine Genrich, and his brother-in-law and wife Zongar and Lorraine (Betty) Johnson.
Over the years, he has had many more relatives and many more friends from the Beatrice, Elgin, and Albion communities. May the memories of this man’s Christian, and caring heart encourage each of us in our lives.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the Church of Christ, Albion, with Greg Clark officiating. Interment will be at West Cedar Valley Cemetery, Elgin. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, at Levander Funeral Home in Albion.
