Open house celebrates new Boone Beginnings

Boone Beginnings Early Childhood and Family Development Center can make a big positive difference in the lives of young families in the Boone County area, as well as the area economy, speakers predicted at the facility’s dedication on Sunday, Nov. 7.
“The people of the area decided to work together on this project to take control of our own future,” said Jay Wolf, treasurer of the Boone Beginnings Committee. “Now, Boone Beginnings will help unleash the tremendous potential of Boone County.”
Andy Roberts, committee chairman, announced that Boone Beginnings was scheduled to open for students Tuesday, Nov. 9, with a revision plan in place for adding glass walls above the existing half that separate the restroom and classroom areas.
The revision plan allows up to 20 weeks to complete the glass wall construction requirement.
