Joseph E. “Bud” Keber, 91, formerly of Spalding, passed away Friday, Jan. 7, 2022. He was currently residing at Good Samaritan in Albion. Survivors include his wife Luella of Spalding, son Bruce (Jane) of Spalding, daughter Joyce (Paul) Cote’ of Arvada, CO and daughter Mary (Tom) Gansebom of Norfolk, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, sister Joan Carraher, three sisters-in-law: Cecilia Keber, JoAnn Pritchard and Leona Schmidt, along with many nieces and nephews.
Family members who preceded him in death were his parents Joseph and Mary Keber, brother Michael Keber, an infant brother, brothers-in-law: Julius Schmidt, Francis Schmidt, Jerry Carraher, Mark Pritchard, Frank Pfeifer, Don Walters, William Diessner and Bill Watson, sisters-in-law: Mary Ann Pfeifer, Albina Watson and Rose Marie Walters.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Spalding with Rev. Antony officiating. Interment followed at the parish cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post 299 of Spalding. .
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
