With a current critical shortage of blood supplies across the United States, area businesses are calling attention to the valuable contribution of blood donors in this week’s Albion News/Boone County Tribune.
January is National Volunteer Blood Donor Month, and blood donations are vitally important to tens of thousands of people across the U.S. and Canada.
The next local Red Cross blood drive will be Monday, Jan. 24, at the Casey Building on the Boone County Fairgrounds from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
