Linda Catherine Formanek, 73, of Lindsay, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, at Columbus Community Hospital. Linda is survived by her husband of 53 years, Larry of Lindsay, children: Laura (Marty) Boyce of Murfreesburo TN, Leigh (Daiva) Formanek of Cary, NC and LaVonne (Dennis) Guthard of Waverly, six grandchildren: Nathan and Austin Pfeifer, Hailee and Hayden Guthard, Connor and Mason Formanek, siblings: Fred (Verleen) Fehringer of Newman Grove, Jim (Korene) Fehringer of Columbus, Carol (Lyle) Beckman of Kansas City, KS, Mary Kerres of St. Paul, MN, Joe (Bobbie) Fehringer of Columbus, Kathy (Dan) Gilsdorf of Columbus, Tom (Julie) Fehringer of Lindsay, Steve (D’Ann) Fehringer of Broken Arrow, OK, sisters-in-law: Lois (George) Dohmen of Columbus and Shirley (Dave) Jarecki of Lindsay, brother-in-law: Jim (Theresa) Formanek of Lindsay, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Linda was preceded in death by their son Louis Lawrence, her parents Ted and Isabel, brother Richard and sister Trudy Fehringer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday Feb. 4, 2022 at 10 a.m. , at Holy Family Church in Lindsay. Burial will follow at Holy Family Cemetery, Lindsay. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Holy Family Church with a 7 p.m. vigil service to follow.
