Lily Joy Johnson, 24, of Albion, died on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022 at Nebraska Medicine Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha. Lily is survived by her parents Jon and Jean of Albion, three brothers: Seth Johnson of Lincoln, Samuel Johnson of Albion and Luke Johnson of Fall City, sister April Johnson of Lincoln, aunts and uncles: Linda Meyers of Lincoln, Jan (Roy) Petersen of Seattle, WA, Jim (Nova) Meyers of Oberlin, KS and Barb (Pat) Shurtliff of Springfield, many beloved cousins, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Ray and Mardella (Childers) Johnson, Earl and Virginia (Petersen) Meyers, uncles: Alan Johnson and Ray K. Johnson and aunt Susan Johnson Meade.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 14, 2022, at the UCC-Congregational Church, Albion, with Pator Mary Avidano and Pastor Ruth Boettcher officiating. Burial was at the Grant Evergreen Cemetery, Talmage.
