Home, Farm & Garden Show kicks off spring season

Boone County’s 11th annual Home, Farm & Garden Show was held last Friday and Saturday, March 25-26, with good attendance both days.
Special features included a fistulated beef animal from the Husker Beef Lab, a quilt display by Carol Kusek, and special workshops on spring plantings and herbs for the home. and animal nutrition.
The annual Pit Boss Barbecue Challenge was held, and this year’s winner was Matt Glaser of Spalding.
