Boone Central FFA has state officer, 5 event winners and Star Finalist

During ceremonies Friday evening, April 8, at the Nebraska State FFA Convention, Boone Central High School senior Dustin Andreasen was named to the 2022-23 FFA State Officer team.
That was just one of the highlights for the Boone Central FFA Chapter during the three-day convention.
Boone Central also had five state event champions, a Star Finalist in Ag Production, and many other awards.
Event champions were William Karmann in Poultry Evaluation; Ava Frey in Agriscience Fair, Environmental and Natural Resources Systems, Division 5; Rachel Malander in Agriscience Fair, Plant Systems, Division 5; Whalen Rother and Brant Benes in Plant Systems, Division 6; and Cody Maricle, Proficiency Application in Grain Production.
Carson Maricle was recognized as a Star Finalist in Production. A total of 24 members statewide were named as Star Finalists in one of three areas – Production, Placement or Business. One winner was selected from each area for their outstanding Supervised Agricultural Experience.
