Agnes Ann Kuta, 92, of Humphrey, died Saturday, April 16, 2022, at the Norfolk Veterans Home in Norfolk. Agnes is survived by her husband Alvin Kuta of Humphrey, daughters: Mary Kay (Roger) Ternus of Albion, Karen (Darrell) Bender of Elkhorn, Lori (Don) Maguire of Norfolk and Julie Corr of Norfolk, sons: Gary (Carol) Kuta of Strasburg, CO and Mike (Jacque) Kuta of Albion, 23 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, brother Gene (Lee) Martischang of Atkinson, brothers-in-law: Gene Kuta of North Loup and Don Kuta of Columbus, sisters-in-law: Rose Ann Kuta of Columbus, Irene Martischang of Lindsay and Georgia Kuta of Platte Center.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Mary Martischang, daughter Janet Kuta, brother Leon Martischang, sisters: Rosella (Ralph) Koziol and Phyllis (Virgil) Kuta, brother-in-law Norbert Kuta, sister-in-law Betty (Jack) Kurtenbach, nephews: Tom Koziol and Brian Kuta.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 10 a.m. at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey with Father Eric Olsen officiating.
Visitation will continue on Wednesday, from 9 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment will be in St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery in Tarnov. Memorials may be directed to the Humphrey Rescue Unit or the St. Francis Endowment Fund.
