Superintendent Hardwick to leave Boone Central

Nicole Hardwick
Nicole Hardwick, superintendent of Boone Central Public Schools for the past five years, will be leaving her employment with the district effective July 1, 2022 as part of a negotiated resignation agreement with the school board.
The agreement was approved by the school board at its Monday night meeting and acknowledged by both the board and superintendent.
A special board meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, June 23, at 6 p.m. to interview prospective interim superintendent candidates for the 2022-23 school year.
In addition to accepting the resignation agreement, the board approved a motion to hire NASB to assist with the district’s superintendent search at a cost of $500.
Terms of the settlement agreement were outlined at the meeting.
The process of studying and improving school climate and culture will be ongoing.
