David Levi Mangus, 21, of Fullerton, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022, as a result of a car accident south of Fullerton on his way home from fishing. He is survived by his father Rick Mangus of Fullerton. mother Cheri Fix of Fullerton. sisters: Katie (Derek) Crawford of Palmer and Sarah Mangus of Fullerton, nieces: Alizabeth, Sophia, Genevieve and Phoebe, nephew Jack, grandparents LeRoy and Lynda Mangus of Albion, Larry Fix of Mitchell and Cindy Conn of Central City, many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous close friends.
He was preceded in death by his aunt Shannon Fix, grandmother Tanya Fix, great grandparents Verna VanArsdale, Melvin and Donna Furby, Ben and Hazel Mangus.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Fullerton with Reverend Allen Pingel officiating. The service will be livestreamed on Mount Calvary Lutheran Church’s Facebook page. Military rites were provided by the United States Army Honor Guard. To honor David’s wishes, cremation will take place after the service and burial of ashes will be at a later date at Fullerton Cemetery in Fullerton.
Palmer-Santin Funeral Home is serving the family. Memorials are suggested to the family for designation at a later date.
