Albion and Boone County residents celebrated Independence Day with a variety of activities on Monday, July 4.
Nearly 100 area children, along with parents, joined in the annual July 4th morning Kiddie Parade in Albion. A Boy Scout Color Guard and Boone Central Band members led the parade.
Above, Oaklee Nolan and Nolan Tisthammer dressed as chefs and pulled a birthday cake in their wagon.
Below, area residents were entertained Monday night by a fireworks display at the Albion Country Club, sponsored by area businesses and the Albion Chamber of Commerce.
A float sponsored by Paul Beckman and Sons Trucking was part of the parade.
