Albion Fire & Rescue took delivery June 27 of a new Rosenbauer pumper truck that will be a primary response truck for all fire calls, according to Fire Chief Bruce Benne. This truck has a crew compartment for six fire fighters, including the driver and five crew members with air packs. It holds 1,000 gallons of water and includes side-mounted controls and extra storage space for gear. It replaces a 20-year-old pumper truck that was recently sold.
