Dale Alvin Olson, 90, of York, NE, died on July 2, 2022 in York. Dale is survived by his wife Nancy Walford of York, daughter Karen Kayton and her husband Tim of Albion and son Gary Olson and his wife Carol of York, grandchildren: Christopher Kayton of Omaha, Nicholas Kayton and his wife Claire of Albion, Kallie Kayton and her fiancé Ryan Dugdale of Fremont, Drew Olson and his wife Karin of Omaha, Riley Olson and special friend Madeline Wilson of Omaha and Holly Olson of Omaha, great grandchildren: Olive and Dalton Olson of Omaha, baby girl Kayton on the way, nieces and nephews, Nancy’s daughter Jeanne Johnson and her husband Brad of Lincoln and granddaughter Katelyn Johnson of Fort Collins, CO.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife Janet, parents-in-law Lyle and Marita Robertson, sister Marjorie Olson Nootz and her husband Dr. Robert Nootz, son David Olson and stepson William Walford.
Memorial services were held Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the First Presbyterian Church in York with the Reverend Dr. Michael Eickhoff officiating. Graveside services with military honors was held following the service at Greenwood Cemetery in York.
Dale has been cremated. Memorials may be directed to the York County 4-H, First Presbyterian Church or donor’s choice.
