Sister Agatha Marie Sadler, 85, of Albion, who lived her religious vocation as an educator and pastoral minister for more than 60 years, died Aug. 26, 2022, at Good Samaritan Society, Albion. Sister Agatha Marie is survived by her sister-in-law Bev Sadler of Howard, SD, nieces and nephews, many friends in Boone County, and by the School Sisters of St. Francis community with whom she shared her life for 66 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Donald Sadler.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Sept. 2, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Agatha Catholic Church, 202 W. Washington Ave., in Howard, SD with Rev. Chester Murtha officiating. Burial will follow at Epiphany Catholic Cemetery (Holy Three Kings), 101 Broadway St., Canova, SD.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sister Agatha Marie’s memory may be sent to the School Sisters of St. Francis, 1501 S. Layton Blvd., Milwaukee, WI 53215.
