Need for EMTs is focus of Emerging Leaders class

Boone County Emerging Leaders class of 2022 presented their class project last Thursday night, focusing on the need for Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) throughout the Boone County communities.
Local leaders from across the county were on hand for the presentation in the Cardinal Inn conference center.
Graduating from the course were Sarah Rasmussen, Alee Mullings, Teresa Tisthammer, Andrew Texley and Kyle Mock representing the Albion area; Amanda Mogensen of Cedar Rapids, Lindsey Christman of St. Edward and Sunday Provencher, village clerk of Petersburg.
The eight young leaders chose a project to increase awareness of the need for EMTs and encourage more people to volunteer for this important service.
