Dorald M. Robinson

Dorald M. Robinson, 89, of Milton/Whitewater, WI, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023 at his home.
He was the last living grandchild of Albion Constable William Wathen, one of two local law enforcement officers who were shot June 17, 1937, by unknown assailants at the time in a pasture in the Akron area.  Dorald is survived by his daughter Myrna (David) Rudolph in Beloit, WI, and son Carl (Karen) Robinson in Appleton, WI, as well as three grandchildren, Robby (Ami) Robinson in Georgia, Melissa Robinson in Appleton, and Scotty Robinson in Milton and two great grandchildren, Faith and Haven Robinson, brother and sisters-in-law: Ellis and Lois Schrunk, Roland and Shirley Schrunk, Merlyn Schrunk, Laura Ratliff, Earleen Jensen, Robert and Sheila Schrunk and Timothy Schrunk, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Alva Robinson, parents Noble Robinson and Mable Lawson, brother and sister-in-law Dwight and Inga Robinson.
Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 27, 2023, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Albrecht Funeral Home, Milton, IA. A “Celebration of Life” will follow at a later date in Nebraska.
