Albion Airport Authority has notified contractors that it is seeking bids for concrete paving of the access road and parking area of the Albion Municipal Airport.
Bids will be accepted by the project engineers, Kirkham Michael & Associates, Inc., at their Lincoln office until 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 30.
The airport authority is working with Kirkham Michael to plan this project for the summer/fall period of 2023. Bid evaluation could take up to 90 days.
The project is subject to the wage and hour provisions of the Davis Bacon Act. Funding of the project cost is shared 90 percent by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and 10 percent by the airport authority.
