Cards, area athletes earn All-State court awards

A number of Albion News/Boone County Tribune area athletes were recognized by a combination of coaches and Omaha World-Herald sports personnel this past weekend in the release of the World-Herald 2022-23 All-Class All-State awards.
Six Cardinals – three girls and three boys – received World-Herald All-State Honorable Mention by coach recommendation, as did 11 other area standouts.
Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family senior Sage Frauendorfer, who averaged 14.8 points per game this past season, was selected for the Class D-1 All-State 2nd Team by the World-Herald sports staff.
Following are the News/Tribune area athletes receiving recognition by the Omaha World-Herald for their efforts during the 2022-23 high school basketball season:
