Boone Central hosted eight other schools and many fans for the B-4 District Track and Field Meet on Tuesday, May 9.
Weather conditions were variable with intermittent rain in the morning and sunny skies by mid-afternoon.
Schools competing in addition to Boone Central were Columbus lakeview, Columbus Scotus, O’Neill, Pierce, Schuyler, South Sioux City, Wayne and West Point-Beemer.
State Championships for Class B will be Wednesday and Thursday, May 17-18, at Omaha Burke Stadium.
