Eva M. Langer

Eva Marie Langer, 87 of Spalding, passed away, Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Boone County Health Center in Albion.  Eva is survived by her three daughters: Sharon (John) Bopp of Grand Island, Shirley (Tom) McDonnel of Maumelle, AR and Jackie (Scott) Voichoskie of Fullerton, son Tom (Angie) Langer of Spalding, son-in-law Ken (Sue) Hiner of Grinnell, IA, eight granddaughters: Lauren (Justin) Salpas of Grand Island, Stacyi (Matt) Wesolowski of Grimes, IA, Hannah (Erik) Bebb of Hill City, KS, Miranda Langer and Marissa Langer, both of Spalding, Jaylie (Nate) Hodgman of Fullerton, Alex (Alex) Makovicka of Dwight and Sydnie (Ryan Huston) Voichoskie of Holdrege, three grandsons: Mark (Sam) McDonnel of Austin, AR, Aaron (Stacy) McDonnel of Fayetteville, AR and Jeran (Alli) Bentz of Bellevue, sister-in-law Mary Dresch of Primrose, brother-in-law Jack Glaser of Omaha, 22 great grandchildren: Alexander Bopp, Mayah Salpas, Griffin Oates, Graham, Teresa and Walter McDonnel, Clark, Anna, Everett and Fletcher McDonnel, Triston, Zoey and Declan Wesolowski, Abigail Bebb, Sarah Bentz, Paisley and Lincoln Hodgman, Henley, Sonora, Harrison, Evanie and Wynona Bentz, along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Melvin Langer, daughter Lori Hiner, brother Lavern Dresch, sisters: Virginia Glaser and Rita (Zig) Moritz, infant sister Mary Ann Dresch, sisters-in-law: Eileen (Rich) Bauer and Leona (Francis) Schmidt, brother-in-law Ambrose (Helen) Langer and nephew Pete Bauer.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, May 26, 2023, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Spalding with Fr. Antony Thekkekara officiating. Burial followed at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, in Spalding.
