Mark Alan Ehlers, 67, of St. Edward, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2023, at the Boone County Health Center in Albion. Mark is survived by his wife Rhonda Ehlers of St. Edward, two children: Chase (Corinne) Ehlers of Papillion and Whitney (Eric) Smith of St. Edward, four grandchildren: Ava, Riptyn and Ashton Smith, and Charlotte Ehlers, mother-in-law Kathleen Modelski of St. Edward, sister-in-law Sheryl Rosno of Albion, along with many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Tom Ehlers and father-in-law Stanley Modelski.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023, at the St. Edward Catholic Church with Fr. Mark Tomasiewicz and Deacon Harlan Long officiating. Interment followed at the St. Edward Catholic Cemetery.
