Junior High Rodeo Finals coming to Boone County next May

Boone County Fairgrounds will be hosting the Nebraska Junior High Rodeo Finals in May of 2024, according to an announcement made Saturday by John Lawton, Nebraska Junior High Rodeo state director.
The finals rodeo is set for Thursday and Friday, May 16-17, 2024, at the Niewohner Arena and the outdoor arena on the fairgrounds.
The third annual Boone County Junior High Rodeo was held at the fairgrounds last weekend (Sept. 23-24).
Lawton said the Niewohner Arena is a “top-notch” facility. “The local rodeo committee, Secretary Dakota Peters and the facility manager, Chuck Rolf, have been great to work with,” Lawton concluded.
