Dale Robert Anderson, 67 years of age, entered Heaven to be with his Lord and Savior in eternal joy, on April 13, 2024, in Pittsburgh, PA.

Dale was born on Dec. 12, 1956, to Dale and Velma Anderson in Hastings, the second of four children and their first son. He was baptized in Zion Lutheran Church in Hastings and confirmed in Peace Lutheran Church in McCook where he grew up. He graduated from McCook High School in 1975.

Dale married Ramona DeBolt at Peace Lutheran Church in McCook on March 29, 1980. They moved to Denver in 1982 where they raised their two boys, Adonis and Danny.

Dale and Ramona moved to Albion in 2009 for 12 years, during which time they were divorced. In 2020, they were reunited and moved to Pittsburgh.

Dale’s family lovingly nicknamed him Rob. He had a great sense of humor. Dale loved to work with his hands, and nurtured his love for pets, by owning several beloved cats. He loved to talk about his favorite sport teams which included his Green Bay Packers, the Denver Broncos and the Colorado Avalanche, attending several Avalanche games with his son Danny. He loved to help people in need and had a very kind and gentle spirit.

Dale is survived by his mother Velma Anderson Mielak Barnes, formerly from Albion, two sisters: Melody Strom (Jerry) of North Liberty, IA and Teresa Anderson of Milwaukee, WI, one brother Kirk Anderson (Susan) of Grand Island, the only love of his life Ramona Debolt, and their sons Adonis DeBolt (Dan) of Pittsburgh, PA, and Danny Anderson (Kat), of Denver, CO, niece Jessica Strom (Chris Snyder), grand niece Esmeralda and grand nephew Luka of Westfield, IN and nephew Justin Strom (Lyndsay) of Ankeny, IA.

Preceding him in his death was his father, Dale Anderson, his Aunt Berniece and Uncle Sherrill Rakestraw, and his grandparents, Henry and Elsa Kroger, Axel Anderson and Minnie Munson.

There will be a private family memorial/burial in the summer in Nebraska.
