Host Cardinals fly high in Mid-State

Boone Central hosted the Mid-State Conference Track and Field Championships Saturday, April 27, in Albion. Nine league schools competed, with the Cardinals scoring 118 points in both boys and girls divisions.

Boone golfers swing away in Lakeview Invite

The Boone Central boys golf team continued its 2024 season April 25 in the Lakeview Invitational at Quail Run Golf Course in Columbus. Playing the challenging Quail Run layout for the second time (previously in the Scotus Invite April 18), the Cardinals finished with a team score of 442 Thursday, placing 10th in the tough 12-team field.

Young BC athletes vie in Pierce 9/10 Invite

The Boone Central Junior Varsity track/field team visited Pierce Tuesday, April 23, to compete in the Bluejays’ annual freshman-sophomore meet. There were many new personal -best performances and improvements entering the final stretch of the 2024 season. It was a great meet with great competition for the younger athletes.

Cardinals face deep competition in Northwest Dave Gee Invite

The Boone Central track/field teams traveled to Grand Island for the Northwest Dave Gee Invite on Thursday, April 18th. The meet featured fifteen schools, which made things very competitive and points in short supply. It was the Boone girls team that turned in the better performance this week, finishing in fourth place while the boys finished sixth - only 5 1/2 points from fifth.
