Competition ramped up at the Fullerton Invitational April 2, the the Riverside Chargers did more than keep pace. In stout boys and girls competition, the Riverside boys were runner-up to team champion High Plains.

Cardinals fly over, past Wayne Invite foes

The Boone Central track teams competed at the Wayne Blue Devil Invite on April 2 and turned in amazing performances, securing the girls, boys and combined championships. The meet included competitors from Lakeview, David City, Scotus, Pierce, Wakefield, and of course, Wayne.

The Boone Central track/field teams opened their outdoor season with the Mansfield Invite in Albion March 28, 2024. After the (hopefully) last blast of winter roared through the area on Monday, the meet was postponed from Tuesday to Thursday.

Riverside continued the early portion of the 2024 track and field season at the Pleasanton Dick O’Neill Memorial Invitational held at Kearney High School. In tough fields of competing teams the Charger boys placed 4th with 50 points and the Lady Chargers finished 13th.

St. Edward making strides

The St. Edward varsity track/ field teams continued their season this past Thursday, March 28, at the Osceola Invite. Some schools had been dropped out and added in because of a reschedule, but the athletes were able to complete the competition.
