Three NG students qualify for State Science Fair

Newman Grove Public School had three state qualifiers and one alternate advancing from the Nebraska Junior Academy of Science’s (NJAS) Northeast Regional Science Fair held March 22 at Wayne State College. Newman Grove state qualifiers advancing were the team of Jayden Benson and Madysen Wiese, as well as Serenity Strong.

Betty King celebrates retirement

Betty King had many of her family members present for her retirement celebration last Saturday, March 9, after more than 14 years as executive director of the Newman Grove Housing Authority.
